FREEDIVING COURSES IN HAWAII
Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the beautiful Island of Oahu and conveniently located near Waikiki, Ocean Freediving offers a wide variety of Performance Freediving International courses and personalized coaching programs. Our freediving courses range from traditional recreational freediving courses to high-performance training programs for aquatic athletes and professionals. Our courses are designed to improve a student’s freediving depth, distance, and duration performances with increased comfort, confidence, and most importantly, safety. Our Aquatic Survival / Breath-Hold Surf Survival Course and Special Operations Forces Emergency Preparedness training programs are specifically designed to improve a student’s breath-hold performance, endurance, and comfort while better preparing a student to remain calm, focused, and collected during an unexpected breath-hold in a violent underwater environment while troubleshooting a problem in the event of an emergency where an air source is lost, or becomes inoperable.
Public courses are scheduled by request for groups of eight or more, military programs start at 10 or more.
FREEDIVING COURSES
Freediver Course | Level 1 (20 Meters / 66 Feet Depth Limit)
Our three day Freediver course is our most popular recreational freediving course in Honolulu, Hawaii. This entry level freediving course is conveniently located near Waikiki on the Island of Oahu and is the ideal introduction to the fascinating world of freediving.
Courses are scheduled by request for groups of eight or more, or for the equivalent cost for a group of eight if there are less than eight participants in your group.
Travel expenses from Hawaii to your location are not included.
Intermediate Course | Level 2 (40 Meters / 132 Feet Depth Limit)
Our four day Intermediate Freediver program is our flagship course and is ideal for freedivers with experience in the ocean that can comfortably freedive to 20 meters / 66 feet without difficulty equalizing. Our Intermediate Freediver course is technique and performance oriented and is perfect for freedivers looking to safely dive deeper and longer with increased comfort and confidence.

Line Diving Sessions for Certified Freedivers
Keep the momentum going after getting certified! Our periodic recreational line diving sessions are offered on the island of Oahu in Hawaii are community based and open to all freedive training agency certified freedivers for safety reasons.
Private line diving sessions and coaching sessions are available by request for groups of six or more, or for the equivalent cost of six if there are less than six in your group. All participants must be certified by a freedive training agency.
SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS
U.S. Special Operations Community
(Underwater Breath-Hold Survival Training / Contingency Preparedness)
Available to the Special Operations Community and other aquatic military units (EOD, Military Divers, Underwater Construction Teams, etc.).
Breath-Hold Surf Survival Courses for Big-Wave Surfers
First developed in 2008 in Hawaii for professional big-wave surfers in Hawaii to better prepare them for long, successive, and violent big-wave hold downs in some of the world’s most challenging ocean conditions.
